Program description and what is included

The English course is 15 hours per week. The programme focuses on cultural learning and practical use of the language. There are up to 17 students in the class and children are divided by language level. Classes are held in the morning and afternoon hours. The primary aim is to inspire students to learn English, as the founders of the school say, "to help them come out of their shell". The teaching materials are developed by the centre. Along with reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, children will learn geography in English. Teaching is possible at all levels.

Description

Founded in 1973 Bayswater College has been accredited for over 40 years.

For groups we are able to tailor every element of your stay with different tuition options, including our out and about programme with lessons taking place in London museums/places of interest, different accommodation options and a wide range of excursions including famous London attrations, academic focused activities and day trips to other cities in the UK including Cambridge and Oxford. Whatever the needs of your group, Bayswater can create a study tour tailored to your needs. Combine a short course of English with experiencing a new culture while exploring the sites of London and gaining insights from an institution with over 45 years experience.

In summer children are accommodated in host families with 2 or 3 children per house. Rooms are cleaned once a week. The host families are within 20-50 minutes away by bus or train. During the year the school offers you twin rooms in the residence with private facilities. The residence is in 30 minutes away from campus. Meals are provided three times a day.
